Our September field trip was to the Harry S. Truman library.It's a really neat museum with a great exhibit about Harry Truman and the World War II Era. We visited specifically to see the Lincoln Exhibit that was showing there, and it was also very good. The Truman Library website has some very interesting and educational links and things to look at as well as some fun activities.
At the museum they have this funny short film of Mrs. Truman at a botched public appearance. My kids got a kick out of it so we thought we'd link it up for other kids to have a look at. :) BTW-for some reason its in French :) But is doesn't matter since it's kind of like a little slapstick comedy short.
